On July 4, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, had a meeting with Erlan Idrissov, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, who is in Yerevan to participate in the session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member-states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
Welcoming his Kazakh counterpart, Minister Nalbandian congratulated him on the election of Kazakhstan as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
In his turn, Minister Idrissov thanked for the reception and mentioned that Kazakhstan is interested in developing relations with Armenia in different directions. Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for Armenia’s support to his country’s candidacy in the elections for non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.
The sides discussed the preparatory works of the forthcoming official visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Armenia.
