While Aravot.am was trying to ask Shahen Harutyunyan the reasons why he was dentained, he said that he is at Liberty square and police officers are chasing him.
“They came to our house in the morning for a friendly conversation, they waited until 2 pm. Then new people came, among them were head of Juvenile Department, and so they detained me. They kept me in custody approximately for half an hour. Then I was released. Now I’m at Liberty square, they are coming after us, and they are detaining me”,- said Shahen Harutyunyan.
“Take your phone out, don’t you understand?”,- it was heard. Shahen Harutyunyan was moaning from pain caused by strikes. It was heard “Ah, my head”. They brought water to Shahen.
Shahen told that they were striking on the same place as in 2015. At that moment it seemed that Shahen Harutyunyan is being detained. It was heard that policemen demand Shahen to hand them his phone. It seemed like Shahen Harutyunyan is in the Police car and he was being beaten as Shahen was screaming: “they are striking on the same place. Call the Emergency service, please”.

The Police tensions continued until they snatched his phone and found out that there was an ongoing call. Then connection with Shahen was lost.
