No patients in extremely critical condition, Minister of Health of Armenia says

After the Government session, Minister of Health of Armenia, Armen Muradyan said that by 9:00 am, 51 citizens, including 29 policemen have applied to hospitals after the events at Khorenatsi Str.

“Everyone was provided with proper medical treatment. At this point, there are no patients in extremely critical conditions or life-threatening cases,” Armen Muradyan said.

Speaking about the conditions of those injured on July 17 during the attack on the Police HQ in Erebuni, the Minister noted that policeman Gagik Mkrtchyan is in a serious condition, yet there is a positive change in his condition.

Referring to the statement of the armed group that they were deprived of medical services, Mr. Muradyan said that ambulances are prepared to show medical assistance if necessary. “I can assure you, no one will be deprived of medical care if need be”.

The Minister was also asked to give information on the condition of the pregnant wife of one of the members of the armed group. “I don’t have specific information concerning anyone’s wife. But I can assure you that all pregnant women are under good care, regardless of whose wife they are”.
