The doctors held a hostage in the territory of Petrol-Sentry Service will be exchange with the Minister of Health and surgical staff
The members of “Sasna Tsrer” armed group will release 4 physicians kept in the territory of the Patrol-Sentry Service Regiment if the Health Minister Armen Muradyan goes to the PSP regiment occupied territory along with the surgical staff. This was told to Aravot.am by Director of “Ambulance” Taguhi Stepanyan, who has talked to a member of the armed group, Sedrak Nazaryan (photo).
Ms. Stepanyan said that although they had received a call thru a mediator telling that there is a near to death person among the militants but getting there it turned out that it was not so serious case, “One person who was injured by the machine-gun in the first days, we had treated his wounds at that time, and only he could have taken to the hospital to avoid serious consequences.”
As presented by the Director of the “Ambulance”, there was a preliminary agreement to meet at a neutral place to provide medical treatment, and since the armed group had said that there is a problem in transporting to a hospital, the 4 physicians have not requested to take injured to a neutral place, they had brought him on the stretcher to the territory of the regiment without any medication, “They were employees of 2 brigades: 2 doctors, a nurse and a medical assistant. They approached the armed men, they demanded to treat the wounds in the place and refused to be hospitalized. Later, they dictated a condition that the physicians will not leave the area until Minister visits them with a surgical staff.”
