July 30,2016 13:05

Last night, about 1 a.m., Mane Tandilyan, a member of “Bright Armenia” political party, visited Erebuni Medical Center. In an interview with the journalists, she said that she was in Sari Tagh area when she heard the shots, “We could hear shots and explosions right above our heads and people began to run away. Then, we walked down and began getting information from the phones and “Facebook” about what is going on across Khorenatsi Street and Sari Tagh area. It was a use of horrible and unprecedented force.” Mane Tandilyan said that it is not enough only to condemn what happened in Khorenatsi Street and Sari Tagh area, “Is should be evaluated as appropriate, it is necessary to apply to law enforcement agencies to take measures. I have no words, I am shocked, no citizen expects and imagines that the police who are called to defend him, is fed by our paid taxes, without any reason and cause protect us, you do not know, from whom.”

Addressing the fact of beating the journalists, Mane Tandilyan noticed that most recently, the police were asking the citizens whether there are journalists or not and only after then, they were detaining people, “This is unprecedented, I do not remember such a thing that knowing the journalist, aiming to … I do not know, bringing an action against them sounds very weak, but we should be able to create a lawful state and each one should be condemned, judged, conduct a legal proceeding and strictly punish all who are somehow associated with the incidents of last night.”
