Mariam Grigoryan, a reporter of 1in.am, in an interview with Aravot.am, told how she was affected when covering the events of 29 July. Deputy Chairman of “Heritage” party, Armen Martirosyan, was negotiating with the police.

He told us to go up because special operations will start soon. I was pretty high with my cameraman David Harutyunyan but anyway, I suffered,” – says Mariam Grigoryan.
As far as she can recall, explosives were irregularly thrown into the crowd, “These explosives were so irregular that the houses began to burn. One of the explosives fell on my leg or near my leg, I do not imagine quite well, in any case, it burned my foot … I also saw a man whose face was burnt from the explosives.” Mariam Grigoryan was sent to the hospital, where her wound was treated and bandaged, now she is at home. The Reporter of 1in.am informed that their cameraman has also got such an injury but on the upper part of his leg. She added that they had attacked and broke cameraman David Harutyunyan’s camera and were beating on his back with truncheons.
“The situation was the kind that they were not paying attention whether you are a journalist or not,” said the reporter. In addition, live broadcast team reporter for 1in.am, Mariam Grigoryan and cameraman David Harutyunyan were grieved in Sari Tagh area. There are numerous wounded people, 60 of them applied for medical care and the number of detained is unknown.
