On 6 August Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the southern wing of the Kashatagh region.
In the Ishkhanadzor village the Head of the State convoked a consultation with the participation of heads of the Kashatagh regional administration and southern wing communities devoted to the 2016 grain harvest.
Bako Sahakyan noted with satisfaction that in terms of the gross cereal harvest the Kashatagh region had been occupying the first place in the republic since 2014. The President underlined that after the Artsakh Liberation war no region in the NKR had harvested more grain than the Kashatagh region in 2016.
The Head of the State gave concrete instructions towards proper solution of the discussed issues noting the necessity of doing everything possible for securing high yield in further years too.

Thereafter Bako Sahakyan partook at a solemn ceremony of handing over keys from a newly-built dwelling district in the Ishkhanadzor village as well as was present at a wedding ceremony of young couples.
The President underlined that socioeconomic development of the region, consistent improvement of demographic situation there was among the pivotal components of the Artsakh Republic’s development and strengthening and would continue to be in the spotlight of the authorities.
NKR vice-premier Arthur Aghabekyan and other officials accompanied the President.
