An international exhibition of arms and defense technologies, ArmHiTec-2016, will be held in Armenia from October 13-15 at the Yerevan Exhibition Complex, where Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member-states have confirmed to attend, said Chairman of the Republican Union of Employers Gagik Makaryan said at a press-conference on Wednesday.
He also added that the president of Employers of Poland, Andrzej Malinowski, will be present.
“Marinowski was the Polish Minister of Economy from 2002 to 2004 and authored very important reforms during that period,” said Makaryan. According to Makaryan, the latter can direct a number of employers to Armenia.
“This will be an international platform in terms of exchanging experience and information in connection with the manufacturing of modern military technologies in the CSTO and European countries, as well as the United States,” Makaryan stressed.

Apart from this, Makaryan noted that an Armenian-Iranian conference will be held in Yerevan from October 5 to 7, where representatives of many Iranian companies will attend. “Another exhibition entitled Made in Armenia will be held in Yerevan from September 19 to 21, which contributes to the investments in the republic’s economy,” he said.
