Members of the Cabinet greeted with applause the achievements of the Armenia athletes at Rio Olympic Games before the session on Thursday.
“On behalf of all of us I would like to extend our gratitude to our prize-winners, Olympic champions Artur Aleksanyan, Mihran Harutyunyan, Simon Martirosyan, Gor Minasyan,” Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan stated, adding: “They held high the honour of the Armenian people.”
Prime Minister Abrahamyan next stressed that expectations about the results of freestyle wrestlers are high as well.
