Advocate Inessa Petrosyan was not allowed to enter the RA MOH “Prisoners’ Hospital” penitentiary facility to see her clients Pavlik Manukyan and Armen Lambaryan who are members of “Sasna Tsrer” group.

In an interview with Aravot.am, Mrs. Petrosyan informed that the substantiation to prevent her entry was the additional examination: “A female officer had come and inspected my bags but even after that, they were trying to return me to another place where I had to pass an additional examination.” Mrs. Petrosyan told that an examination was planned yesterday and the SIS investigator was also with her.

Mrs. Petrosyan was reluctant to talk about her plans noting that when she becomes fully familiar with what the problem is, then she will decide on her actions. We wondered whether the preventive actions against her are justified from the legal point of view, Mrs. Petrosyan replied, “The same procedure and law have been always operating, quite a long time we have worked. We have entered the same “Prisoners’ Hospital” penitentiary facility before and there was no problem, and all of a sudden, we encounter some problems.”
