President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to the people and leadership of Uzbekistan at the difficult for them moment – on the occasion of the demise of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, press department of the President’s Office reports.
Highlighting the role of the years-long leader of the country in the development of the state building of the modern Uzbekistan, President Serzh Sargsyan expressed confidence that tenacity and vital energy, which the people of Uzbekistan are well-known for, will allow to overcome this profound loss and to unite closer for the strengthening and prosperity of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“I share the deep sorrow of the people of Uzbekistan, family and friends of Islam Karimov and convey my words of condolences and support,” reads the letter of condolences of the President of Armenia.
