On 5 September Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received members of the Supreme Spiritual Council of the Armenian Apostolic Church at the head of the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.
President Sahakyan welcomed holding the meeting of Supreme Spiritual Council in Artsakh and underlined the significant role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the establishment, development and strengthening of the national statehood, consistent reinforcement of the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity as well as maintaining the Armenian national identity and values.
