In recent years, our fiery autumns have been moved to July and August, furthermore intensifying the heat and hot summer. Our summers in previous years were made fiery by the protests on transport and electricity prices hikes, and this summer, the task of fiery was ensured by Sefilyan-supporters and the guys of “Sasna Tsrer”. This last fiery protest started so unexpected and sudden and ended as unexpected and sudden. At the same time and now, estimates were and are given to the actions by the members of “Sasna Tsrer”, it is true but these estimates are so contrary to each other and so different from each other that considering them serious analysis will be extravagance.
Many people considered and consider the guys occupying the regiment alive and real heroes, while many people do not see any seriousness and meaning in their actions. My words refer not to the sworn opposition members and sworn pro-government opinion but to the views of quite independent citizens, people who along with longing for the regime change and being discontent with the reality, did not and still do not see seriousness and perspective in the actions of the “Sasna Tsrer” guys who have occupied the regiment.
Apparently, the “Sasna Tsrer” guys had started their rebellion and their actions, hoping that people will join them. It’s hard to tell whether people joined them or not. Some people think that they joined. Others believe that very few people were gathered. Those who this so once again try to cast the blame on the people without thinking and understanding that already under the unguided and headless actions, it was even hard to expect so many people. However, there was a “critical mass” who was doing their utmost and was ready to do more. But there was nobody to guide them and the goal was not clear. It’s true that for some time a coordination group was formed but even the coordination group had no clear vision about its actions, because the rebels were not clearly expressing their goals. Sometimes, they were talking about the Karabakh conflict and then about the oligarchs’ looting, and sometimes were demanding the president’s resignation which was rejected by Balasanyan.
At times, the rebels were strongly criticizing the actions of the opposition who one way of another were trying to organize and guide the struggle. Roughly speaking, everything was done not to make people gather. Nevertheless, despite the heat and hot weather, there were people gathered there and they were more present than the guiders of the movement. Not this-or-that opposition made the people to stand up but their social problems, about which it is not spoken but which are more essential. Finally, the grounds of the movements in previous summers related to the transport and gas price hike were also social.

It is right here that main part of our society and the interests of our main opposition do not coincide. The significant part of the people is socially much more vulnerable than our oppositions, the parliamentarian segment of which received extremely high salary. And this is the main reason why our ordinary citizen feels and imagines the social problems more acute and deeply than our oppositions. It imagines but does not raise it because it is also ashamed of its extremely poor condition. While, it looks at all issues from the social point of view.
It is no secret that the anti-Russian sentiments are more and more disseminated among our citizens in recent years. Permyakov’s case and the sale of weapon to Azerbaijan are of great importance, it is true but again the problem is social. People see that no Eurasian union or CSTO facilitates their social problems. Moreover, life is getting more and more difficult. Even the taxi drivers who were our most pro-Russian class in the past are now speaking about the NATO, the United States and the change in our political orientation. Incidentally, they are talking quite self-confident unlike our politicians whose distrust expresses not their weakness and uncertainty of mind but all of us.
