On the night of September 6-7 the Azerbaijani forces have violated the ceasefire regime along the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan for 30 times, firing 370 shot toward the Armenian positions from weapons of different calibres.
As the NKR Defense Army reports, on September 7 at around 01:30 Karabakh army serviceman Arman Alik Ghandilyan, 1997, was fatally wounded due to violation of rules of military watch. The incident occurred in the combat position in one of NKR Defense Army military units in the northeast direction, the statement details.
An investigation is underway to look into the circumstances of the incident.
NKR Defense Army shares the grief of the irreparable loss and conveys its solidarity to the soldier’s family, relatives and fellow soldiers, reads the statement.
