There is such an episode in the Soviet film “The Republic of ShKID”. A teacher of Russian literature comes to school but instead of teaching his subject, he decides to win the hearts of the children and begins singing frivolous songs together with them. When he is expelled from school, he begins complaining about not being able to realize his plans that were focused on the aesthetic education of children, he was not understood and was prevented.
I remember this film every time when an official resigns or when he is dismissed (in this case, it does not matter), and some time later, he begins to list what wonderful tasks he had accomplished and most importantly, was planning to do if the “evil forces” had not prevented him.
Especially, often such complaints are heard from people who have ambitions to the laurels of a “reformer”. Such was person was, for example, Tigran Sargsyan. It is not, of course, that the native oligarchy was not preventing him and was not fighting against him with all possible methods. In addition, the second president was displeased that he has lost his influence, particularly, on the economic decision-makers. But, let us remind that in 2008, he was not coming from the kindergarten to the position of prime minister, at that moment, Tigran Sargsyan was well-known to the Armenian reality and moreover, he was taking part in the “creation” of fallacious sides of this reality.” So, to complain and be offended why the president had not supported me in all matters, “Well, if he had supported, I could have accomplished much more”, all this makes no sense.
Certainly, all this was not said in public but it is not difficult in Armenia to know who of the influential figures thinks how because these figures have many unofficial “speakers.” I had the feelings of such motives even in the case when Karen Karapetyan resigned from the post of a mayor. At first, there was a “drive” then it disappeared nowhere. But if a person agrees to any public office, he must fight to the end to fulfill his thoughts. If Poghos or Petros bothers him, he either should convince them that they are wrong or achieve their dismissal from the office or yes, to resign but publicly explaining what was the mistake of his colleagues. Rather than leave “for personal reasons” by leaving the impression of being offended.

Obviously, oligarchy will also obstacle Karen Karapetyan, he is not “local” as he is the representative of not Armenian but Russian oligarchy. But in all cases, we can nurse certain hopes with his tenure only in the case if he is not offended a few months later and would not leave by complaining through the “speakers” that the fulfillment of his brilliant plans was obstructed. After all, we are dealing with a quite mature and experienced person, aren’t we?
