Within the framework of “Lifeline Road Network Improvement” project implemented in Armenia with the support of World Bank and the RA Government, renovation works of Agarak-Yaghdan-Koghes-Mghart-Arevatsag-Karmir Aghek-Tsater-Aygehat-Ardvi-Odzun road have finished.
According to the Ministry of Transportation and Communication, the length of the road is 39.6km. About AMD 3 billion 476 million have been invested for the renovation works.
The road connects Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Georgian border (M-3) interstate highway to Stepanavan, Tumanyan communities, Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Georgian border (M-6) interstate motorway, as well as the cities of Alaverdi and Stepanavan.
