As we have informed, a while ago, President Serzh Sargsyan signed decrees for the appointment of a number of ministers. Accordingly, Ignati Eduardi Arakelyan will replace the Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan.
Ignati Arakelyan has graduated from the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction. He previously has worked at the Yerevan Brandy Company. Ignati Arakelyan has commenced his work career in Yerevan Brandy Factory in 1998 for the positions of an accountant, and later a chief accountant. In 2006, he held the office of the Finance Director of the Company, since 2009, he became Deputy Executive Director of the Company, and since 2015, he is the Executive Director of the Yerevan Brandy Company.

He was the Head of the RA Prime Minister’s Staff in 1998-99. In 1999- 2001, he was the Deputy Executive Director of Armenia’s Public Television and later the Vice President of the Public Television-Radio Council of Armenia. In 2004- 2011, he was the Deputy General Director at “Hrazdan Energy Organization/HrazJek” OJSC, in 2012 – Director General at the “Telasi” JSC, and from 2015 to present – General Director at the “EnergoInvest Holding” JSC. Ashot Manukyan has a non-party orientation, graduated from the State Engineering University of Armenia and the American University of Armenia, with a degree of an engineer-mechanic. He has a Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Economics.
Vahan Martirosyan who replaced the Minister of Transport and Communication, Gagik Beglaryan, is also a non-party oriented, in 1984 – he graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute after K. Marx and holds a qualification of a radio engineer. He is a candidate of technical sciences the candidate of technical sciences
Vahan Martirosyan has worked at the Yerevan Electrical Equipment Plant, Head of Construction bureau, Deputy Chief Engineer, in 2006 – a Chief Commercial Director at “ArmenTel” Company, and since 2008 up to present – Chairman of the Board of Directors at the “GNC-alpha” CJSC.
Vardan Aramyan replaced Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan. He graduated from Yerevan State Institute of National Economy and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (Boston), he has a qualification of an economist and holds the military rank of a junior sergeant.
He has many years of work experience at the CBA, in 2008-2013 – he was a Deputy Minister of Finance, and from 2013 to present – he holds the position of the First Deputy chief of Staff of the RA President’s administration.
Vache Gabrielyan and Davit Harutyunyan, as we have informed, were re-appointed to their positions.
