On September 21, while participating in the activities of the 71th regular session of the UN General Assembly, Edward Nalbandian, Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia, had a meeting with Lilja Alfreðsdóttir, Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Iceland.
During the meeting the ways of developing cooperation between the two countries were touched upon. An importance was attached to the formation of legal framework, organization of mutual visits, intensification of inter-parliamentary contacts, cooperation within the framework of international organizations and expansion of economic ties.
