Addressed to Karen Karapetyan. “We have seen demanding prime ministers’ shows a lot.”

September 26,2016 14:34

“Well, well, we have seen such shows a lot of times.  We have seen quite a lot of shows in these 18 years.  Unfortunately, this is just the problem that the country is heading towards ruins, while we are showed shows in all this time in the participation of demanding ministers, demanding presidents and demanding prime ministers,” – said ANC faction leader Levon Zurabyan in an interview with Aravot commenting the approach to Artsvik Minasyan at the government session and newly appointed Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan demanding posture.  In his words, “If the country’s development and progress were dependent on these shows, today, Armenia would not only be ahead of Singapore but Singapore, Israel and Sweden combined.  Although, it must also be said that we are lagging behind on shows too.  Turkish soap operas throughout South America have become a big brand.”

To our question that it was announced that the Prime Minister will be granted freedom and great opportunities, so what tools he has in his hands, how huge this freedom could be that even at great and good will, he will be able to make changes, Levon Zurabyan replied, “What does it mean that all this time, they were explaining to us that it is not possible to drop down the gas and electricity prices, in contrary to our allegations, now, they say that it is possible and we are going to do it.  And here is a question, why they were saying us “no” all this time, but as soon as the elections are close, they are saying that this issue can be solved.  I think the answer to the question is very simple, they have the desire to steal, they realize that the ability to continue to steal depends on the outcome of the elections, so at least ahead of the elections, they can loosen the bolts, let the elections pass and then pass to the fulfillment of the favorite job.”

To our question of whether it was not possible to do it through Hovik Abrahamyan, and whether it was necessary to replace him, Levon Zurabyan replied, “Therewith, they also solve the problem of updating the staff.  Ultimately, the goal is to create an illusion of changes among the people ahead of the elections.”  To our question that the new prime minister said they do not have a magic wand, and the same was said by Hovik Abrahamyan and also Tigran Sargsyan, so what this means, do not rely on us, Mr. Zurabyan replied,  “They have the magic wand as all of them become rich in a magical way.  I do not agree that they have no magic wand, they do have it.”
