On September 28, Garen Nazarian, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, received the delegation of the National Assembly of France, headed by Parliamentarian Francois Rochebloine.
In the course of meeting the Armenian-French dynamically developing bilateral relations, high-level political dialogue established between the two countries and efficient cooperation in different areas was discussed.
Deputy Foreign Minister Nazarian highly appreciated the visits of the French Parliamentarians to Armenia and Artsakh, which have already become a good tradition. At the same time, he outlined that the Friendship Groups established in the legislative bodies of the two countries have a significant input in the further expansion and deepening of Inter-parliamentary cooperation, which is an important element of the Armenian-French privileged relations.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia thanked Francois Rochebloine for his pro-Armenian activity and, particularly, for his consistent interest in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

During the meeting, importance was attached to the intensification of contacts and enhancement of cooperation between the Armenia and French delegations within the European institutions. Among other issues, a special reference was made to the continuous efforts exerted in the processes of exclusively peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue and international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
