On the night of October 6-7 the adversary has violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact for 50 times, firing around 1 800 shots from weapons of different calibres toward the Armenian positions.
As Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic reported intensive ceasefire violations were recorded in the northern and northeastern directions of the frontline.
According to the source, the Azerbaijani forces applied DShK grenade launchers (155 shots) and Instigal type long-range sniper rifle (109 shots). In the northern direction the adversary applied AGS-17 grenade launcher 1 (shell).
The advanced detachments of the Nagorno Karabakh Army retaliated adequately to suppress the adversary’s offensive and continued confidently carrying out their combat duties.
