”Turkey is facing unprecedented challenges today. Terrorism is one of them. In the current difficult domestic and international context, Turkey needs full Council of Europe support and we are ready to provide it. Our best response to terrorism is to make our democratic institutions, rule of law and human rights mechanisms stronger, so as to immunise our societies against extremism and radicalisation that that fuel violence and terror”: concluded PACE President.
