There are barely passable roads in Armenia as of 09.30 am, on October 19, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the source, Sotk-Karvachar motorway and Vardenis mountain pass are barely passable. There is sleet on the roads of Gegharkunik region and Sisian-Goris highway.
Precipitation in the form of snow is recorded in Jermuk town of Vayots Dzor region, Qajaran town and Shinuhayr village of Syunik region,
Meanwhile, Lars checkpoint is open for passenger vehicles with antiskid chains from 06.00 to 20.00, while the road is closed for the trucks. The road is being cleaned, Emergency Situations Department of Georgia’s Interior Ministry said.
