The Government program, which yesterday won the ruling Republican Party’s, today the government’s positive conclusion, and tomorrow will be presented to the Parliament’s judgment, has declared the provision of security of the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh as a priority, as the most important strategic issue, as well as putting the 2015 constitutional reforms into practice in the connotation of fulfillment of political and economic systemic changes, development of democratic institutions, enhancement of control over electoral system, strengthening the systematic fight against corruption, establishment of social justice, ensuring equal and fair conditions for the entrepreneurship, ensuring conditions for doing a businesses, stimulating production for export promotion, state support to newly elaborated projects that ensure rapid economic growth, involvement of investments, earmarked social assistance, increase of food safety, encouraging public-private sector partnership and so on.
The last provision, by the way, will be applied for the first time. “It is possible to have effective and visible development in all these areas for a certain period of time. The short-term fight against the shadow economy, corruption, the establishment of social justice, provision of transparency and equality in the economy will create a chance for a serious increase in the level of trust in the society,” – said secretary of the Republican faction Gagik Melikyan in an interview with Aravot.am.
He is confident that the sprouts will still produce their results in the government’s long-term program, which will be presented in April 2017. I am convinced that the results will be visible in a short run,”- said Secretary of the RPA faction, Gagik Melikyan, particularly referring to the statement-instruction of the SRC newly appointed Chairman Vardan Harutyunyan that the economic entities operating in the field of law should not feel the presence of the tax service.
