The U.S. Embassy in Yerevan condemns the October 4 attack on Rafael Grigoryan, Pastor of the Vanadzor Evangelical Church and president of the Union of Churches of Evangelical Faith of Armenia. The Embassy applauds the prompt investigation launched by the Investigative Committee. Regardless of the motives behind this attack, such acts of violence are unacceptable. Embassy officials met with Pastor Grigoryan on Friday and will continue monitoring developments around this case.
