The Government of Armenia will provide 20 million AMD for compensating the tuition fees of Syrian-Armenians studying in Armenia.
The corresponding bill is included in the agenda of the October 27 Cabinet meeting. Currently 400 out of 500 SyrianArmenian students in Armenia are in need of tuition fees. As during previous years, this year also the “Calouste Gulbenkian” Foundation and AGBU are ready to provide 125K USD each for partial compensation of tuition fees of Syrian Armenians for 2016-2017.
However another 20 million AMD is needed for complete compensation of the fees.
