In the photos Optical devices and sights in the photos are envisaged for artillery, armored arms and are completely manufactured in Armenia. The peculiarity of the thermal vision device (in the photo) manufactured for “Fagots” envisaged for mobile armored targets as well as for light field structures and for spearing weapon emplacement is that the device is also a sniper weapon at the same time. “It discovers in invisible conditions that is to say it “feels” by warmth and shows on the screen. And the sights serve for spearing the target from “Fagot” station”, director of the Armenian manufacturing company, Tigran Chiflikyan told Aravot.am.
“The armed forces of RA consumes this product but we cooperate with Russia too, the latter buys a certain amount”, said he. Our interlocutor also spoke about different types of devices, including thermal vision devices, that the Diaspora sent to the Armenian Armed Forces after the April war. “Of course, the Armed Forces is very grateful for them but from the military point of view they are not appropriate as the requirements are different- firmness, technical data, weather conditions… in case of our product all the requirements are taken into consideration”. It should be added that the above mentioned devices were exhibited in the “ArmHiTec-2016” first international exhibition of arms and defense technologies.
