Tarivardiev’s wife is also in Yerevan and she herself will conduct the concerts. That is to say, the end of the festival dedicated to Tariverdiev’s anniversary will be in Yerevan”. Ms. Simonyan presented also details about the opera performance “Rigoletto” by Giuseppe Verdi. “As for “Rigoletto” that is the final concert of our 10th international musical festival, it is not only a concert performance but also a theatrical performance, which was staged by Soukias Torosyan. Gianpiero Ruggeri (baritono) from Italy participates in the concert with vocal part, who was specially invited”. Liparit Avetisyan (tenor), Hasmik Torosyan (soprano) will also have roles, the rest of the singers are also from Armenia, except Ruggeri and our France -based Suren Shahinjanian (bass). Thereafter, other events of the Philharmonic Orchestra will go on , in particular an evening party dedicated to Babajanyan that was postponed on November 25 will certainly take place” said our interlocutor.

Aravot.am asked Ms. Sirunyants whether the year was productive for the Philharmonic Orchestra, “We have implemented many great projects this year, only within the framework of the festival we had 25 soloists among who there were many famous musicians. Of course it was a productive year, it is very good that such musicians are arriving in Yerevan. But there is one thing; perhaps to some extent something is left open, maybe in the sense of information or numerous concerts. That is why, it happens that the halls are not full, and I am worried about it a little bit, but in the sense of its efficiency, of course we had good concerts. The only problem that the Philharmonic Orchestra has is financial. We hope that one day we will be in better conditions”, said the head of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia.
