October 29,2016 12:16

Armenia’s song and video clip to be performed in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 have premiered recently. Anahit Adamyan and Mary Vardanyan will present Armenia at the contest with their song “Tarber” (Different). The creative team of the Public TV Company of Armenia has selected a song composed by Nick Egibyan and Avet Barseghyan to be performed during Junior Eurovision Song Contest of this year. The song is based on the differences of styles of the two junior singers. Public Relations Department of the Public TV Company of Armenia informs.

Nick Egibyan has composed the music combining several trending music styles. “When I got acquainted with the different vocals and styles of the two children, the song came to my mind immediately. As a result we have created this version, which, I think, fits them perfectly. Although their music styles are different from each other, they are united by passion towards the song,” the composer noted.

In the words of Avet Barseghyan they have chosen a theme which is highly discussed by both the singers.
“During the discussions we understood that this distinction and quarrel would be presented best by junior artists, and the fact that the song should be composed on the basis of differences of both artists was clear from the very beginning. The girls are physically very different from each other and they are united by the song, smiles and love,” Avet Barseghyan noted.

One of the participants Anahit confirmed that the song and the clip are based on the differences between herself and Mary, as they have their unique styles and personalities.

Mary Vardanyan hopes that they will manage to transfer their high mood to the Eurovision fans not only through the song but also through its clip.

The director of the video clip of “Tarber” is Aramayis Hayrapetyan.

Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held for the 14th time in Malta’s capital Valletta on 20 November.
17 countries will take part in this year’s contest, namely Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Macedonia, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine.
