As part of his working visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan met with NKR President Bako Sahakyan. The President of Artsakh congratulated Karen Karapetyan on his appointment as Prime Minister of Armenia and wished him every success and productive activity.
Bako Sahakyan expressed the hope that during his tenure of office Karen Karapetyan would continue to consistently develop and expand the high-level economic cooperation between the two Armenian States. In this context, the interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to economic exchanges between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
In accordance with a decree signed by NKR President Bako Sahakyan on the occasion of the NKR independence 25th anniversary, RA Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan was awarded Mesrop Mashtots order for support of Artsakh in most important socio-economic issues.
