Deputy Minister of Health Samvel Margaryan is in the photo who is the only high-ranking official in RA that renounce service car and comes to work by bicycle. In the conversation with us he said that he lived only one kilometer far from the ministry and could also walk. To our question “Don’t you have a service car?”, he said.
“Maybe somewhere on the paper it is written that I have, but I have not seen that car, and to tell the truth I do not want to see it in the near future. I do not need it. I have my personal car, but I use it quite rarely once or twice a week, when I have to go to the country with my family. I am 34 and perhaps it is 20 years I have been riding a bicycle, it has been with us since my early ages.”
When we asked “What will you do if you are sent to a marz on a business trip?”, the Deputy Minister observed two options that “Nothing will happen if I go by my car, besides that, there is public transport.”
