Edward Nalbandian received Bridget Brink

On November 16, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, received Bridget Brink, the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs.

Welcoming the guest, Foreign Minister of Armenia commended the high level of Armenian-American friendly partnership, emphasizing that during the recent years a considerable progress has been achieved in bilateral relations through joint efforts, which creates wide opportunities for the further enhancement and expansion of cooperation.

Bridget Brink thanked for the reception and noted that the United States highly appreciates friendly relations with Armenia and is interested in their further strengthening.

The interlocutors touched upon the perspectives of developing the Armenian-American trade and economic cooperation, exchanged views on the activity of Armenian-U.S. Council on Trade and Investments and U.S.-Armenia Joint Economic Task Force (USATF).

Foreign Minister of Armenia and the US Deputy Assistant Secretary discussed issues related to the implementation of agreements reached during the summits in Vienna and Saint-Petersburg aimed at creating conductive conditions for the advancement of settlement process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Edward Nalbandian and Bridget Brink exchanged views on a number of pressing international and regional problems.
