Yerevan Mayor Daron Markarian tasked to create a working group headed by deputy Mayors Aram Sukiasian and Davit Ohanian, which will present the New Year program of the city in a short period of time.
The Mayor clearly demanded the program to be based on a modest format principle.
“As you know, back in May we reviewed the financial resources planned for this year’s cultural events. I had emphasized at that time that this revision will impact the sum for especially large cultural events. The New Year festive events are also within these frameworks, therefore it is necessary to elaborate a program on holding the events in a modest format”, the Mayor said.
