Artsrun Hovhannisyan about the calls of entering Baku and Aliyev’s threatening with new “Lele-Tepe”

November 22,2016 15:34

Aravot.am asked the RA Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan for his opinion about war veteran Vova Vardanov’s question of “who does not want to enter Baku … The war will not end until one of the capitals is not handed over.”  “I do not consider the “filling” of the views of an individual military expert with official interpretations correct as the official interpretations may be different and do not disclose the entire instrumentation.  While the individual expert is free in his assessments and wishes,” said Artstrun Hovhannisyan in an interview with us and reminded us the official view, “The RA armed forces are well aware of their task and fulfill it.  Certainly, many things are not subject to detailing.”

We also asked to comment on Aliyev’s recent statement in which he was saying that “if Shushi is ours … if Armenians do not learn lessons from the April battles, numerous successful actions are waiting for them: Lele Tepe, for example.”  “Before and after the war in April, I have said that splurge and boasting of such caliber politicians should not be considered important.  The conscious politician should realize that “Lele Tepe” could not be the key problem of main direction attack.  Therefore, it is necessary to realize that when you have not solved the main problem but some tactical issue, you should not raise it.  But of course, Azerbaijan has adopted a different approach to this issue.

I do not think it should be interpreted carefully in our reality.  I urge in such cases as well as every manifestation of hysteria of “Iskander fear”, do not bring them to the press … they (meaning Azerbaijan – edit.) live in their own world … The Azerbaijani press also has its own rules of the world,” said Artstun Hovhannisyan.
