On the sidelines of the Ministerial Conference of the International Organisation of la Francophonie being held in Antananarivo Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, met with Maurice Bandama, Minister for La Francophonie of Côte d’Ivoire.
Minister Nalbandian outlined that Armenia attaches importance to the development of relations with the countries of the African continent and is going to intensify its steps in this direction.
In the course of the meeting the Ministers discussed possibilities of developing cooperation in political and cultural areas. In this context the importance was attached to the creation of relevant legal framework.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the issues of the OIF’s agenda, the intensification of cooperation within the framework of international structures.
