On November 24, on the sidelines of the OIF Ministerial Conference being held in the capital of Madagascar, Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, had a meeting with Alain Aimé Nyamitwe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Burundi.
The Ministers recalled with warmth the meeting held last year in Yerevan on the sideline of the OIF Ministerial Conference. The sides discussed the process of implementation of agreements reached during that meeting.
The importance to expand legal framework, develop cooperation in the areas of trade and economy, education and culture was highlighted. The sides also exchanged views on the agenda issues of the International Organization of La Francophonie.
At the end of the meeting Memorandum on Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation was signed.
