Tom Hanks has expresed his support to the Children of Armenia Fund’s (COAF) upcoming gala concert in New York.
In a video message published on COAF’s official page on Facebook, the Oscar-winning actor calls for active attendance at the event set to be held in Chiprioni on Decmber 9.
“Explore your Armenian roots, and if you are not an Armenian just join them in Chiprioni. God bless and thank you,″ he says.
Founded in 2000, COAF works to secure a future for children in Armenia’s impoverished rural villages through improved education, healthcare, community life and economic conditions. Its projects are aimed at creating and sustaining opportunities for growth and progress.
