“Bright Armenia”, “Republic” and “Civil Agreement” political parties most likely will declare about going to the upcoming elections in a united alliance. In spite of all this, in my opinion, it is a positive fact. It is positive that Nikol Pashinyan and Edmon Marukyan were able to forget their recently broke out the semi-personal dispute. Politics is not the place to love each other, to be offended of each other and eventually to look a “good guy”.
Politics is a place to implement programs. It is positive that they have decided to combine their resources. It is positive that they do not wait for the return of Gagik Tsarukyan to politics to enter into his alliance and if expressed a little ruder, to “cling money” from him.
Naturally, the oppositions who cannot or do not want to unite will say that it is the “government’s program”. I do not know, as they say, I was not holding a candle. But it seems to me that it is much more favorable to the government when the politicians do nothing except for making calls to hang, quarter and burn. Yes, the majority of the society likes this rhetoric but they are just variations of the air of which the government is not scared at all and does not get into a “panic”. They are curses of a toothless grandmother which can cause only a smile of an insane person.
The detailed and everyday work is much more promising: creating local institutions, realistically calculating own resources, presenting alternative standards to the perception of politics, society and life. Whether the three mentioned political parties are going to do it, I still do not know, but sooner or later the political forces will come to it.

Yes, usually political and pre-election alliances have sad fate in Armenia. In the case of any relative failure, they collapse, an inner squabble starts, mutual accusations and so on. Certainly, I have no right to give advice to the political parties but if they were able to overcome their own ambitions and find common grounds for cooperation then perhaps they will go even further and create one party out of three.
In all cases, the undertaking is interesting, let’s see how it will end.
