We met groups of brides or as a bride dressed girls in the ancient Puerta del Sol public square in Madrid for several days. The grooms, however, were nowhere. As to what so many brides were doing in the main square in Madrid was not clear.
In any case, their presence in Puerta del Sol was beautiful which translated means “solar gates”. Incidentally, this square is the center of not only Madrid but also Spain. Here is the so-called “zero-point” from where the radial network of Spanish roads begins. They say that the first gas lamp in Madrid was installed in this Puerta del Sol square, the first omnibus and tram started their route from here. In 1919, the first urban metro line was passing underneath the Puerta del Sol ground.
