“Last week, the press service of Defense Army reported several times that the enemy has opened a fire, including from non-regular weapons, however, it is not a high tension level. If one shot is a serious tension for someone, we have long been accustomed to it,” – said the Defense Ministry Spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan in an interview with reporters during his visit to the north-eastern borderline of Armenia.
“The situation along the border of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh is relatively in peace, there is no tension. The shots that happen a lot almost every day, especially at nights, do not mean tension. The RA and NKR armed forces control the situation and are watchful,” he added. In Artsrun Hovhannisyan’s words, these shots are targetless and irregular.
