US presidential elections are over. As it was expected, Donald Trump won. This time, Aharon Adibekyan and everyone seemed to be mistaken. The too much self-confidence of self-confident Trump had a continuation. Perhaps, only he believed that he would win. But his faith was so powerful that it was decisive. In the United States, as usual, the defeated candidate congratulated the winner. Just moments after the victory. Because they have rich, beautiful and meaningful traditions of democracy. If we had traditions of democracy, Edmon Marukyan’s brother would congratulate the newly elected mayor of Vanadzor. But in order for us to have democratic traditions, first of all, Edmon Marukyan’s brother should become a mayor of Vanadzor. Let’s be patient and wait.
In all cases, Donald Trump’s victory was unexpected even for the Americans with rich, beautiful and meaningful traditions of democracy. As for our political scientists, they all were convinced that Clinton’s winning is beyond doubt, and being in surprise with the Americans, they have not yet decided what to say. Now, they are hemming and hawing the next political wisdom that the US interests and foreign policy will not be changed by Donald Trump’s becoming a President.
In fact, we as always know about America and Americans all that they Americans do not know. Our people were also arguing with confidence that Aliyev’s and Trump’s closeness will not have a significant role in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. In short, our people know all that apparently still Donald Trump himself does not know.
No matter the newly elected US President unlike many others believed in his victory, however, the status of a president gives him a reason to look at everything in a new way and to think about everything in a new way, and given by all this, he may review his earlier views and approaches by delivering a number of surprises to everyone, including himself because the tasks and objectives of the candidate for the US president are significantly and too different from the tasks of the current US president.

In the meantime, the projections about the future activities of Trump will continue not only in the world but also in Armenia, and political scientists, without giving a turn to each other, will try to predict and guess how the world will change by the appearance of Trump on the stage. The other group of predictors will continue arguing with confidence that by the appearance of Trump, the US interests and activities will significantly change, and Trump will generally continue the work of his predecessors. Moreover, by the opinion of some political strategists, Trump is turn out to be much more cunning and will cause much bigger problems for Russians. Some political analysts surely assume that Trump would hardly remain in the post of the president by the end of his first tenure.
However, the predictors are too many and the predictions are very different, and the only person who is profoundly silent on this theme is himself, the US Republican President Donald Trump. Soon, he will not only speak but will also act, and we will know how and why Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton.
