Overnight December 5-6, the adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan more than 60 times firing over 700 shots towards the Armenian frontier troops from weapons of different calibers. As the Press Service of the NKR Defense Ministry reports in a released statement, Azerbaijani forces made ceasefire violations mainly by applying machine guns, heavy machine guns and sniper rifles (73 shots).
NKR Defense Army forces carefully controlled the situation in the Line of Contact and undertook countermeasures only in cases of extreme necessity.
