The Stepantsminda-Lars highway connecting Georgia with Armenia through Lars checkpoint is open as of 19:00, December 6. As the Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication reported, citing the Roads Department at the Georgian Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, the highway is open to all types of vehicles with antiskid chains.
The ministry informs it will reports provide updates in case of any changes.
To remind, Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported earlier that 232 vehicles, including 223 trucks and 9 buses (330 citizens overall) have stuck in the checkpoint.
