Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalski believes that Armenia can be proud of the potential of its youth.
“Young specialists, working in various non-profit, state or private agencies, are professional and well-informed, and speak several languages,” the Ambassador told the press at the meeting of the graduates of the Diplomatic School of Armenian MFA.
He expressed his hope that the schools graduates would contribute to the fine future of diplomacy in Armenia.
The European Union supported the school financially since 2010. Piotr Switalski noted that about EUR 1.6mln was allocated to this program.
“The EU aimed to strengthen the capacities of Armenia’s diplomatic staff, and introduce young diplomats to the European Union and European values in the context of international relations and foreign policy dialogue,” the Ambassador said.
