The NKR departments are involved in the restoration works of relevant infrastructures
Active restoration activities are underway in the bordering Talish community of Artsakh which heavily suffered from the opponent’s operations during the April escalation. The journalists were informed about this from Artsakh President’s Spokesperson Artak Beglaryan during the visit to Tavush marz by the initiative of the Defense Ministry. He has detailed that the departments are involved in the restoration of relevant infrastructure and building construction works, “Certainly, the work will not be active in winter but tangible results will come in the future. Based on the security, also changes in design will be made.”
Artak Beglaryan reported that they are going to work towards the elimination of the ruins remained from the Artsakh war which would have a positive impact on the moral and psychological condition of Talish people. As to what is being done to ensure the security of Talish people, Mr. Beglaryan said, “It’s a matter of dignity. Restoration and resettlement are nothing if the security is not ensured. I am sure that corresponding actions will be taken in the near future too.” Artak Beglaryan assured that all necessary will be done for the improvement of security and living conditions. He also said that he is unaware of the NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov’s statements on the establishment of a foundation for the restoration of Talish.
“Anyone who is not indifferent to the development of Artsakh, certainly, can make a contribution the way they want,” said Artak Beglaryan. NKR Prime Minister’s Spokesman also informed that appropriate conditions are created in the community of Alashan, Martakert region, for some of Talish residents in the form of an apartment or a house. Houses will be delivered to around 20 more families in the future because some of Talish people settled in Armenia want to be settled not in Talish but Alashan.
