The RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reports that as of 15:00 snowfall is observed on the highways of Aparan, Aragatsotn, Ararat, Artik, Maralik, Akhuryan, Ashotsk, Vayk and Sisian.
Berd- Chambarak highway is closed due to the snowstorm. Akhuryan, Ashotsk, Dilijan, Sisian and Goris highways, as well as Vardenyats Pass are partially covered with clear ice.
The road crews are currently scattering salt and sand on the highways.
The Ministry calls the drivers to drive along the above mentioned roads only in cases of strict necessity.
