Aronian, Anand play draw at London Chess Classic

Games of the round 7 at London Chess Classic took place. Armenian GM Levon Aronian es played against former World Champion Viswanathan Anand with white figures. The game ended in draw in the 30 move.

Hikaru Nakamura was the only participant who secured a victory in the round against Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.

Wesley So of the United States played draw with Vladimir Kramnik and maintained his lead in the tournament table. The games between Fabiano Caruana and Michael Adams as well as Topalov – Giri ended in draw.

After seven rounds, Wesley So leads the table with 5 points, followed by Caruana with 4,5 points. Kramnik and Nakamura share the 3-4 places with 4 point each. Aronian, Giri and Anand have scored 3,5 points and are in the 5-7 places of the table.
