The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RA reports that as of 14:00, 20 December certain highways in Armenia are difficult to pass.
Vardenyats Pass and Sotk-Karvachar Highway are difficult to pass.
The highways of Saravan-Zanger, Sotk-Karvachar, Vanadzor-Dilijan, Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Stepanavan, Berd-Chambarak, Maralik-Lanjik, Maralik-Artik, Vardaghbyur-Ashotsk, Tsovamarg-Amasia, Sisian-Kapan, as well as Vardenyats Pass are partially covered with clear ice.
According to the information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Stepantsminda – Lars Highway is open for all types of vehicles with antiskid chains. 77 trucks are accumulated in the Russian part of the checkpoint.
