The delegation headed by the Chairman of the Committee of the RF State Duma on the issues of the CIS member states, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov accompanied by the member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Mher Shahgeldyan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex today.
As the press department at Armenia’s National Assembly reported, on behalf of the RF State Duma, Leonid Kalashnikov and the participants of Yerevan fourth joint sitting laid a wreath at the monument of the Armenian Genocide victims, flowers at the eternal fire and in silence honored the memory of the holy martyrs.
The guests also had been in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the documents proving the Armenian Genocide.
“Today innocent people die, it is necessary to combine all the forces for preventing the all-human new tragedies,” Leonid Kalashnikov said.
