Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) adopted a unilateral decision over the timetable of the main events for preparing and holding parliamentary elections set on April 2.
Chairman at CEC Tigran Mukuchyan presented the main events that are due to take place ahead of the forthcoming election.
According to that, the campaign for the April elections is set to start on March 5 and last until March 31. April 1 is announced a Day of Silence. Mukuchyan next informed that the timetable will be published on the CEC website right after the end of the Commission’s extraordinary session.
To remind, RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on Thursday to hold the regular elections of the RA National Assembly on 2 April, 2017.
